I'm Dave but most people call me Monsieur Bowtie [it's kinda my thing]. I am a freelance photographer by trade, but also am involved in the Toronto nightlife scene promoting and hosting parties all over the city. When I'm not taking photographs of people and places or hosting the cities swankiest soirees you can find me across most social networks helping companies and local talent get noticed by the masses. as well as writing and covering local fashion events and blogging about anything to do with fashion and entertainment.
I'm extremely outgoing and enjoy nothing more than a nice glass of pinot noir with good company and tantalizing conversation regarding current affairs, entertainment, and anything worth debating really :)
As i said i am a photographer and i live for it! There is nothing more satisfying then capturing that perfect moment in time, recorded forever to look back on and reflect.
- Tell us what you love about your city
- Toronto is a very multicultural city, within a 50km radius you can find everything! From posh, luxury hotels and eateries to grungy basement restaurant comfort food and hostels placed right in the middle of our sometimes chaotic city.
The people vary almost as much as the structures; from old to new, from well maintained to a "fixer upper". In any given day you can find the love of your life, get into a fight, make 27 new friends to drink with that you will never see again, lose the love of your life, encounter a stray animal, donate money to the needy, be recruited for a modeling career fall asleep in a park, wake up and repeat.
There is so much beauty hidden in our city if you know where to look! appreciating the little things you pass everyday and from the architecture to the serene parks and sometimes lively beaches in the summer. This city offers something for everyone!

I see Calgary the same way. So many great things about this city but not even all the locals know about it, cause it has been stamped with the old "oil & gas" tag for too many years. But we are so much more than that. Including fashion and art. Imagine! lol
