Lorenzo Berardinetti for Scarborough Southwest

I don't usually jump into the punditry of Ontario Politics, however this time I will for one very interesting and dedicated person.  Lorenzo Berardinetti.

If you happen to live in Scarborough Southwest, you already know of him. He has never been one of those leaders that are absent only to reveal themselves at election time.  Lorenzo is always hard at work determined to solve a particular issue for the people he represents.

The other day I was at Kennedy Commons having a Cinnamon Dolche Latte (half sweet) at the Starbucks there remembering when I was younger and there was a lumber place in that area.  I remember thinking that it will be hard to revitalize that area.  The visual impact of this spot affected the entire area.

I was pleased to hear of Lorenzo's role in the nuts and bolts of revitalization to the point that returning to Scarborough years after my move out west in 1997, I was surprised, shocked even to see the transformed area.  What was once an eye sore is now a busy commercial centre with a theatre, shops, restaurants and yes, Starbucks.

Lorenzo and I have a few things in common, he went to Ionview Public School back in the 70's and then went on to Winston Churchill Collegiate.  He went on to University and then law school in Windsor. He opened a successful practice at Kennedy Road and Ellesmere.

Lorenzo has always had an affinity to Scarborough.

I fully endorse Lorenzo Berardinetti and urge his re-election.  There is so much accomplished for the riding of Scarborough Southwest: Fighting for constituents against the Quarry Lands Development, bringing funding for important programs including youth programs, community centres, Variety Village and so much more.

I invite you to view votelorenzo.com, and to those in Scarborough Southwest, cast your vote on October 6th for Lorenzo Berardinetti.
