I met with our sponsors from Public Social Lounge earlier this week to find out a bit more about the venue

The lounge has a “Plush” look; with its dark hardwood floors, rockwork on the bar and LCD screens surrounding the perimeter of the rooms

The venue is separated into two rooms one which open from Thursday to Saturday in the evening. They have an in-house DJ and after about 9pm you can expect those there for the evening to clear some space to dance on the floor

The second room is also used for private bookings with anything from Wine Tastings to Charity Events. Their menu has a wide variety of choices so everyone can be satisfied

Deeanna who worked with us on our event is a native Calgarian and been in the restaurant business for a time that she describes as “forever” ;)

She has been extremely helpful and generous throughout the process of our Ultimate Girls Night Out contest and we are really looking forward to working with her in the future

Deeanna and I spoke about Calgary for while and its dynamics and I think my favorite point that Deeanna made was that even when Calgarians hit the recession our spending habits really didn’t change when it came to going out for an evening,. That is pretty amazing considering entertainment is usually the first thing people cut from their budget

In simpler terms this pretty much says to me… Calgarians you ROCK!!!
