We all love a good road trip.   Something about the wind in your hair, the open road, the adventure.  Most of us can remember family road trips from when we were younger.

Ontario is truly “yours to discover.”  Whether you head west to the Niagara region and take in a show in Niagara On The Lake, or tour the wineries, or Niagara Falls.  You may also visit Stratford, or cruise the Lake Erie coast, or visit Port Dover.

Eastern Ontario offers many destinations worth visiting including historical sites and awesome landscapes.  I think about Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg, or Sandbanks National Park or the Thousand Islands.

You can spend an entire week travelling just the waterfalls in Southwestern Ontario: Sherman Falls, Webster Falls, Elora Gorge Falls, Hoggs Falls, Eugina Falls, Sauble Falls.  Certainly trips for nature lovers and photographers.

And of course, every Ontario resident should road trip to Northern Ontario.  Breathtaking views and lakes.  There are endless opportunities to rent cabins or camp with your tent or RV.

A few years ago, a friend bought a 35′ trailer (More like a luxury condo on wheels).  At the end of last summer, she said they couldn’t wait for the weekend so they could leave home and discover another cool place to stop.

Now, all of this doesn’t even address the trip itself.  Road trip lovers know exactly what I mean.  Packing up the car.  The feeling pulling out of the driveway.  That oh-so-awesome stop to buy munchies and coffee before hitting the highway.  After about an hour the city thins out and the highways have fewer lanes, and you “feel” like you are on your way.

Trip’s Auto in Brantford, Ontario appreciate a good road trip and building lasting memories with family and/or friends.  “The freedom of the open road when traveling with family and friends in this way etches strong emotional connections to the moment.  We tend to look back on these memories and yearn to reconnect.  Our vehicle plays such an important role in the memories we share and we want to give this road trip from our deep appreciation of shared adventure”. Zsolt Racz, Trip’s Auto.
